About Me

Makeup Artist Brisbane - GenevieveMy interest in makeup started at a very early age. My mother is a very talented artist who encouraged me to pursue my love of anything artistic and creative. I was fascinated with the way my mother would blend colours and apply them to a blank canvas to create something beautiful.

I discovered that I also had a talent but it was in the art of makeup. I was always experimenting with my mothers makeup and as I got older I decided I wanted to learn the craft of make-up.

I love what I do! It gives me a great feeling of satisfaction to see my clients so happy with the end result. To be able to express my love of art and glamour through the medium of makeup is what truly inspires me.

I trained and completed my Diploma of Make-up in 2004 at the acclaimed Napoleon Perdis Academy and had the privilege of being trained by some of the industry’s best . This gave me an extensive knowledge and understanding on all aspects of makeup including makeup design and concepts.

I approach makeup as an art. It has a way of totally changing one’s look by accentuating or hiding features. Makeup is an extraordinary medium in that it can enhance and improve anybody’s look or at the same time be used in a theatrical sense to create a completely different look altogether.

It’s exciting and very rewarding for me to see the pleasure my work gives to people. I enjoy the makeup industry because I’m responsible for making people look their very best for some of the most important occasions of their lives. It’s no secret that when you look good and I mean really good, then you feel fantastic.

I believe that each person is unique and I aspire to use make-up to enhance and complement a person’s special features at any age.. My objective is to create a ‘picture perfect and flawless look’ for you, which will leave you feeling and looking incredible.

I specialise in creating individual or classic makeup looks for any special occasion including weddings, formals, hens nights, race days, fancy dress parties, girls nights out – Any excuse!
